I have this in black as well, beautiful super warm coat!

I love this coat, it's warm, beautiful and thoughtfully designed for an equestrian. The only thing I'd change is to have it slightly less fitted through the waist so I could wear more layers (I purchased a size up from my normal size and it's still a little snug for my tastes). Otherwise, it's totally perfect. It's the most expensive coat I've ever purchased but the quality makes it worth the splurge.

I do not think I have ever written a review before for an item of clothing. I have been eyeing the duck down riding coat for several years now but I always hesitated because - let's face it - it is not inexpensive. I made do with other well known brands. After I ripped the sleeve on one of my other coats, I purchased the chocolate brown duck riding coat. The morning I took it out of the package, we had several inches of snow and winds up to 40 miles per hour. I wore it ALL DAY - and I was out salting and shoveling multiple times, then I went to the barn. I stayed warm and dry ALL DAY. And I am generally cold most of the time and I was not that day. I was so very impressed. I cannot say enough good things about this coat. I highly recommend to anyone who spends hours outside during cold winter weather- both in the saddle and out.

This is such a beautiful coat. I almost can’t wait for it to be cold enough to wear it! I usually wear a medium and the medium fit perfectly.

I absolutely love this Navy Velvet-lined Jacket! It is high quality and and super comfortable! The lining in the pockets and inside the jacket is incredibly soft!! I also have it in black- wearing them all the time!! (And they wash well also!) Treat yourself to one today!!

I love these breeches! They move well without binding, and I can bend over without exposing myself.

These breeches are absolutely the most comfortable breeches I think I have ever worn.
The next day after we met, I wore the top and bottoms. Rode 5 horses in this heat plus tacking and untacking 3 of them. Usually I cannot wait to get home and out of my clothes.
Honestly, I felt so comfortable throughout the day and at the end of the day.

I love, love, love this coat! Everything about it is high quality and beautifully made, from the stitching to the zippers to the softness of the felt. It's so warm and it looks gorgeous on too! I've been using this as my daily coat to go to work and run errands in too. We've been having very cold weather lately and it keeps me so warm, plus it just looks elegant. I have another much more rough-and-tough riding coat that I've used prior to this for barn-only activities, and while it works great and serves it's purpose, this coat is definitely a step above. I recommend buying one size up if you like thick winter clothing. I ordered a size up and it fits perfectly over sweaters, but still has a nice, fitted outline.
